Donna graduated from Wheelock College with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and fromLesley University with a Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Donna taught Kindergarten, First Grade and Graduate students for 35 years and loved it! For more than three decades, Donna’s professional work with children and their families focused on helping every child to realize his/her greatest learning potential and to achieve academic excellence and social competence as individuals and as members of the joyful community of learners.
Donna attended the National Geographic Society Summer Geography Institute and served for many years as a National Geographic Societyand Massachusetts Geographic AllianceTeacher-Consultant developing curriculum and presenting at local, state, national and international workshops and conferences. Donna, KB1LWY, and her dear friend and ham radio Elmer,Dr. Chuck Counselman, W1HIS, established a ham radio station (known as a shack) in her first grade classroom and for ten extraordinary years their first grade "HAMsters" made contacts and shared outstanding learning adventures together with scientists, travelers and explorers around the world! Donna served on the Grand Canyon Curriculum Development Team and as a teacher consultant for numerous universities and educational publishing companies. Donna's international, post graduate studies included coursework in England, Ireland and in Japan where Donna traveled as a Keizai Koho Fellow.
The oldest of five daughters with an older brother, Donna is still the “go to” sister for all things organizational in her family. Extended family members, neighbors and friends frequently call on her to help them get organized as well. At work, Donna was often asked by her teaching colleagues to help organize their classrooms and to put their paper management filing systems in order. Donna loves to assist others and is passionate about supporting learners of all ages in their work to become and stay organized!

Donna retired from teaching in 2013, purchased her first home after a lifetime of renting and moved to the positively beautiful, seaside community of Falmouth, Massachusetts. She has thoroughly enjoyed nesting, organizing their new home and becoming active in the outstanding Falmouth NewcomersOrganization, www.falmouthnewcomers.org, and the fabulous Falmouth Garden Club, www.falmouthgardenclub.org. Donna is learning how to play Pickle Ball and loves the warm, court side camaraderie and friendship! Donna joined NAPO, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals and NAPO-NE,the New England chapter. An enthusiastic and conscientious life-long learner, Donna is actively involved in Professional Organizer and Productivity Specialist coursework and training.
