Did you know that your microwave can kill the bacteria on your kitchen sponges?
Here's how ... 1. Wet your sponge(s) - dishes, counters, floors 2. Microwave the sponge(s) on high for two minutes. 3. It/they will be hot so let the sponge(s) cool before removing it/them from the microwave. Note: Your dishwasher is another good source for removing bacteria from your sponges. Did you know that you can save lots of time scrubbing the inside of your microwave simply by heating a cup of water for three or four minutes? The steam will loosen food particles built up on the interior walls and a quick wipe with a cloth or paper towel will make the task complete!
