Energize and Organize: Move Management - Label All of the Boxes!

Boxes, boxes, and more boxes!  Did you ever think that you would need SO MANY boxes to move?  

As you know, all sizes of boxes are available for purchase from  a number of sources including your moving company and local office supply stores.  You may also purchase boxes from online stores.

Have you wondered where to get those boxes for free?  Try any of the following ...

• Bookstores
• Craigslist
• Freecycle 
• Grocery Stores
• Liquor Stores
• Mall (So many stores, so many free box opportunities!)
• McDonald's (Ask for their fry boxes.)
• Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks

Once you have gathered  all the boxes you need, be sure to label them!  As you know, well labeled boxes will speed up your move and your unpacking time!  A well organized move is one with every box labeled for correct placement in your new residence and/or office.  
Remember to ...

• Label each box (both on the top and the sides) with a number.
• Note the specific box number and box contents on your inventory list.
• Designate a color for each home/office room and mark each box such as  blue for the bathroom, red for the kitchen, etc. Use (waterproof) colored permanent markers, colored packing tape, colored duct tape or colored labels for box markings.
