Use 70% of your take-home pay for regular monthly bills and living expenses including rent, mortgage, heat, electric, groceries, cable, phone, gas, clothing, medicine, etc.
Save 20% of your take-home pay for your Emergency Fund, your Long-Term Retirement (401K, 403B, IRA, Pension) and your Specific Goals (special events, tuition, vacation, etc.)
Use 10% for debt payment including credit cards, student loans, car payments,etc.
